How wonderful it is to have possibilities and approaches to deepen ones knowledge, to broaden the inner horizon and to look over the edge of the table. Since early childhood this has been always my longing, to discover areas outreaching the standards. Never minding they where belonging to the fields of social living, medicine, arts, of different society models and cultures or religion. One of the most important German scientist Alexander von Humboldt, has been a role model to me and his definition of Science and Knowledge is describing this beautifully.

In India I found an amazing variety of branches teaching knowledge which were unknown in the west. Jyotish or Vedic astrology and Vedic Yagyas are pointing out here. In the holy city of Varanasi or Benares it is possible to study both subjects at the Banaras Hindu University. The most fascinating thing in Vedic teachings and Indian living is the integration of knowledge for day to day living as also the higher soul aspirations and realisation of the soul’s purpose in life. Studying Vedic Sciences like Jyotish, Vedic Yagya, Yoga and Ayurveda are a great source of inspiration to me and have been a manifold enrichment to my life. After many journeys to India, meeting holy people, Scholars, Vedic Pandits and attending Yagyas, my fascination and love for this country with its many faces and its lovely people has been growing and growing. Out of this respect the wish to create this site was born.
This website should serve the following goals:
- To inform, support and teach the high values of Vedic wisdom and Sanatana Dharma
- To support the Vedic Pandits and their heritage of Vedic wisdom.
- To help building and supporting schools for Vedic knowledge or “Veda Patashalas”
- To support and inform about temple projects
- To offer Vedic services from the field of Jyotish and Yagya for the benefit of peoples living
- To offer seminars and invite Vedic Pandits to teach this knowledge
